How to Download and Use the Zoom Mobile App

This guide will show you how to download the Zoom mobile app, sign in, and join live Zoom coaching calls with Unchained Leader using your phone or tablet.

Whether you're using an iPhone, Android, iPad, or other device, follow these simple steps to make sure you're ready to participate in your scheduled calls and meetings.

Step 1: Open Your App Store

• Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) on your phone or tablet
  
• Tap the search bar at the top

Type in: Zoom Workplace

Step 2: Download the App

• Tap the download or install button
• If you’ve previously downloaded the app, (and using an IOS device) tap the cloud icon to reinstall
• Once downloaded, tap Open to launch the app

Step 3: Sign In or Sign Up

If you don’t have a Zoom account yet:

• Tap Sign Up and follow the steps to create your account

• Or Click Here to watch our guide on how to create an account 

If you already have a Zoom account:

• Tap Sign In

• Enter your email or phone number and your password

• Tap Sign In again

Step 4: Skip Optional Prompts

When prompted:

• You may skip adding a mobile number (optional) 

• You do NOT need to upgrade to Zoom Pro, the free version is all you need

Step 5: Set Your Display Name

Now that you've logged in - Set up features and options within the app

• Tap your initials or profile square in the top-left corner

Tap My Profile 

• Tap Name under the personal information section
• Edit your display name to match what you want others to see in meetings
• Tap Save in the top-right corner

Step 6: Join a Meeting

To manually join a meeting:

• Tap Join Meeting

• Enter the meeting ID from your email

• Tap Join

Step 7: Use the Email Invitation Link

• Find your Zoom invitation email from Unchained Leader
• Tap the email to view confirmation details (time, date, and time zone)
  
  
  
  
• Tap the blue Zoom link to join the meeting
  
  

Step 8: Launch the Zoom App and Join the Meeting

When tapping the Zoom link:

• The app will automatically launch


• You may be prompted to allow access to your camera and microphone — tap Allow

• You’ll be taken into the Waiting Room until the host starts the meeting

Step 9: Final Meeting Tips

Once in the meeting:

• Turn on your camera 

• Mute or unmute your microphone as needed

Step 10: How to raise your hand within Zoom

If you're not sure how to raise your hand on a live zoom call:

• Look for "reactions" on you zoom tool bar

• Then tap on "Raise Hand"
